Our Mission in Community Groups
We believe that by joining a community group, you will help establish friendships that will help you HEAR, KNOW, and LIVE for Christ. They are not a "serve me" thing. Being in a group requires you to show up, step up, and live more for Christ. Belonging is what everyone desires most! Invite others to come along side you. Here are the aims of all of our groups:
DEVOTE DAILY
By leading yourself well, pursuing Christ, and connecting with the source of life is the most important thing you can do for your Community Group. (John 15:5)
PURSUE RELATIONALLY
By being committed to one another, not bailing when things are tough, and knowing the details of your Community Group members' lives. (Romans 12:10)
COUNSEL BIBLICALLY
By using God's Word as your guide over experience or opinions, collectively seeking truth together, and asking the question, "what does God's Word say about that?" (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
LIVE AUTHENTICALLY
By owning the responsibility to let your brother know where you are prone to wander. (James 5:16)
ADMONISH FAITHFULLY
By being true friends who speak truth to one another. (Colossians 3:16)
ENGAGE MISSIONALLY
By "breaking the huddle,"
knowing and using your gifts, and remembering we are
God's plan! (Matthew 28:19-20)
