Interested in JOINING a Community Group?

We believe life change happens best in a horseshoe (leaves space for others to join!) and not rows.
Find a Community Group to begin living in authentic community.
Don't see a group? Send us your info and we will help you find one!
(We might not have a group at this time, but it doesn't mean we wont!)

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

We believe being in a community group will help establish friendships that will help you hear, know, and live more for Christ.

Community Groups are not a "serve me" thing.
They are: show up, step up and create the community God has intended.
Push & Pull, Give & Get, Know & Be Known, Love & Be Loved.

Our desire is that you and your group would be able to invite and
help others belong - because belonging is what everyone desires most!
OUR AIM IN COMMUNITY GROUPS
1. Devote Daily by leading yourself well, pursuing Christ, and connecting with the source of life is the most important thing you can do for your Community Group. (John 15:5)
2. Pursue Relationally by being committed to one another, not bailing when things are tough, and knowing the details of your Community Group members’ lives. (Romans 12:10)
3. Counsel Biblically by using God’s Word as your guide over experience or opinions, collectively seeking truth together, and asking the question, “what does God’s Word say about that?” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
4. Live Authentically by owning the responsibility to let your brother know where you are prone to wander. (James 5:16)
5. Admonish Faithfully by being true friends who speak truth to one another. (Colossians 3:16)
6. Engage Missionally by “breaking the huddle,” knowing and using your gifts, and remembering we are God’s plan!(Matthew 28:19-20)

Want to:
LEAD a Community Group?

We want to raise up an army of people from Awaken that run towards people, not away from them.  We hope to help you open up you time, home, and life so that people can experience community and live for Christ!

Our process is that we invite potential leaders into a  training at a home with a Community Group Shepherd who helps leaders figure out and navigate the who, what, when, where, why, and how.
