✨ PurposeThe Media, Creative, and Social Media Team exists to glorify God by communicating the Gospel, church vision, and ministry life in a clear, engaging, and excellent way. We use media—design, video, photography, social platforms, and more—to help people connect with the mission of the church and grow in their faith.
🧭 Scope of ResponsibilityThe Creative Team supports:
- Sunday services (slides, branding, worship visuals)
- Sermon series artwork / branding
- Social media strategy and posts
- Event promotions (flyers, social graphics, screens, print)
- Merchandise / church promotion designs
- Photography & videography
- Website and digital presence
- Brand consistency & visual communication
📋 Content Request PolicyTo manage workloads, ensure quality, and prioritize what matters most, all content requests must follow the official Media Request Process.
✅ Request Process:- Submit a Media Request Form at least *14-16 business days in advance. (*see below)
- Last-minute requests include requests of any kind made in less than 10 business days. These requests may receive basic design support only. This includes simple layouts using pre-made church templates, without full customization options or multiple revisions.
- Use the official form to provide full project details (text, deadlines, quantities, colors, etc.).
- Provide any logos, reference materials, and final copy when submitting.
- Await confirmation from the Media Team before announcing or printing anything.
**Late / Last-Minute Requests (under 10 days): May receive basic templated design with no custom artwork. Subject to availability.
What Qualifies as an Emergency that would be accepted as a last-minute request to receive basic support?
- Pastoral or church-wide crisis (death, cancellation, urgent update)
- Time-sensitive event beyond your control

🧑🤝🧑 Team Roles & ResponsibilitiesDue to the nature of a growing team, overlaps may occur in positions/roles.
Creative Director / Team lead is consistently one person; Jordan Herrera. ALL communication with the creative team should be initiated with Jordan. Creative Director / Team Lead:- Approves content and branding
- Oversees timelines and project flow
- Assigns tasks to team members
- Final sign-off on public media
Designers / Creators:- Complete design requests
- Follow brand guidelines
- Submit drafts on time for review
Social Media Coordinator:- Manages posting calendar
- Writes/post captions
- Schedules and monitors engagement
- Ensures platform guidelines are followed
Photographers / Videographers:- Capture events and services
- Organize and edit content promptly
- Work with team to schedule shoots
All media content—including graphics, videos, social posts, printed materials, and slides—must be produced by or approved through the Church Media/Creative Team before it is made public (posted, printed, or displayed).
This ensures:- Consistency with church branding and messaging
- Accuracy in details (dates, times, contacts, etc.)
- Alignment with the mission and values of our church
No media should be posted, distributed, or displayed without prior approval from the Creative Team Lead or designated team member.✅ Summary: What to Expect From the Media TeamWe are committed to:

If I submit a request for the Creative Team, I am aware of the policies and procedures that will take place, and agree to respect the items stated therein. I acknowledge that if I create media and send it out without permission or collaboration from the creative team, my items will be subject for immediate removal as I have not been upheld to these standards and regulations of excellence for serving in this capacity.
