Where is the location of your faith? Is it in yourself? Is it in our Lord Jesus? The danger is that yes, we may accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, but we may default back to works. We may think we’re earning more grace and favor on our own. Be like the Berean Jews and experience faith how the Bible says it’s supposed to happen. Not because of what we say or how we word our faith, but simply because of God…and God alone.

God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.
